Félix Lajeunesse is the chief creative officer and co-founder of Felix & Paul Studios. A visionary creator with an extraordinary attention to detail and a deep understanding of emotional resonance, crafts virtual reality and immersive experiences that provoke connection and are rooted in a profound sense of presence.
Together with Paul Raphael and Stéphane Rituit, his co-founders at Felix & Paul Studios, Felix has spent more than a decade breaking new ground in immersive storytelling, marrying technological innovation and creative excellence.
Co-founding Felix & Paul Studios was more than the start of a company – it marked the beginning of a creative revolution. With the first-ever VR film, “Strangers with Patrick Watson,” in 2013, the studio set a precedent for innovation in cinematic VR storytelling. Since then, he has co-directed more than 30 immersive experiences including “The People’s House,” a collaboration with former President Barack Obama, “Traveling While Black” with Roger Ross Williams, and “Gymnasia” with the NFB. Each project has charted a new course and expanded the realm of possibilities in immersive storytelling.
Felix’s innovative work has garnered widespread industry recognition, including two Primetime Emmy Awards for the studio’s remarkable projects: “The People’s House,” offering an intimate tour with Barack and Michelle Obama, and “Space Explorers: The ISS Experience,” an awe-inspiring journey into space that stands as the most ambitious media project of its kind and has been adapted into a groundbreaking immersive touring experience, Space Explorers: THE INFINITE.
As the creative lead at Felix & Paul Studios, Felix is an explorer, a storyteller, and a visionary. His ongoing contributions to interactive storytelling are forging a new path for emotionally compelling, presence-based entertainment.
